Mythology

Shukracharya is the son of Sage Bhrigu. He is the guru of the Asuras and possess the secret of Mrita Sanjeevani Vidya — the knowledge of reviving the dead. He is the master of the Sanjeevani Mantra. Despite being the preceptor of demons, he is highly respected for his wisdom and devotion.

Astrological Significance

Venus governs love, romance, beauty, art, music, luxury, marriage (for men), vehicles, comforts, and sexual pleasure. A strong Venus gives charm, artistic talent, marital harmony, and material comforts. A weak or afflicted Venus can cause relationship difficulties, lack of refinement, laziness, or financial instability.

Remedial Measures (Upaya)

Worship Goddess Lakshmi on Fridays. Offer white flowers, sweets, and rice. Recite the Sri Suktam or Kanakadhara Stotram. Chant "Om Shukraya Namah" 108 times. Wear a diamond (Vajra) or white sapphire set in gold or silver on the middle finger. Donate white clothes and food to women.

Note: Remedial measures in Vedic astrology are spiritual practices, not substitutes for medical or professional advice. Always consult a qualified astrologer before wearing any gemstone.
